Who this notice is from

This notice describes how US Preservation Partners (“we,” “us”) handles personal information collected through uspreservationpartners.com and in the course of the introductions and services you ask us for. Because we work with families in many countries, we apply the standards below wherever you live.

What we collect

We collect only three kinds of information, and most of it is optional.

What you give us

Your name, email, phone or WhatsApp, country of tax residence, preferred language, and anything you write to us. If you ask us to send your exposure report, the asset figures you entered and the estimate they produced are included so the report can be personalized.

What the estimator keeps in your browser

The figures you type into the exposure estimator are processed on your own device to show your result. They are held only in your browser and are sent to us solely if you choose to request the written report. If you never request it, we never receive them.

What is collected automatically

Like any website, our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages you view, for security and reliability. Cookies needed to run the site, such as the one remembering your language, are always active because the site cannot work without them. Advertising and analytics cookies, including Google's, are set only if you accept them when we ask, and nothing on this site is withheld from you for declining. You can change your answer at any time.

Why we use it

We use your information only for the reasons you would expect:

• To answer your question and, if you ask, to prepare your personalized report.
• To arrange an introduction, and to follow up, only when you have asked us to.
• To send occasional notes on cross-border planning and opportunities, only if you opted in, and only until you tell us to stop.
• To keep the site secure and working, and to meet our legal and regulatory obligations.

Where the law requires a legal basis, we rely on your consent for optional marketing, on taking steps you have requested for everything you ask us to do, and on our legitimate interest in running a secure, useful site.

What we never do

• We do not sell or rent your information to anyone.
• We do not share it with advertisers or data brokers.
• We do not call you unless you ask us to.
• We do not use your figures for anything other than your own estimate and plan.

Who sees your information

Your information stays with the small team working on your plan. With your go-ahead, and only the specific people your plan needs, we introduce you to independent professionals such as attorneys, accountants, trustees, and insurance carriers. They receive only what is relevant, and they are responsible for their own handling of it under their own privacy terms.

We also rely on a small number of trusted service providers, for example our website host and email provider, who process information on our behalf under confidentiality obligations and only as needed to provide their service. We may disclose information where we are legally required to, or to protect our rights, but never for anyone else’s marketing.

International handling

US Preservation Partners is based in the United States, and the estate-tax questions we address are US questions, so your information will generally be processed in the United States. If you are contacting us from another country, you are asking us to handle your information here. Wherever it is processed, we protect it under the standards described in this notice.

How long we keep it

We keep your information only as long as we need it for the purpose you gave it, or as long as the law requires, and then we remove it. If you ask us to delete it sooner, we will, unless we are required to keep a limited record. Reports and inquiries that do not turn into an ongoing relationship are kept for a short period and then cleared.

Your choices and rights

Whatever country you live in, you can ask us to:

• Show you what we hold about you.
• Correct anything that is wrong.
• Delete your information.
• Stop the optional emails, at any time and with a single request.
• Withdraw a consent you gave, or object to a particular use.

To make any of these requests, reach us through our contact page. We will respond within a reasonable time, and we will not make your experience worse for asking.

How we protect it

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect your information, and we limit access to the few people who need it. No method of transmission or storage is ever perfectly secure, so we ask you not to send sensitive documents, account numbers, or statements by email. You do not need them for a first conversation, and when the time comes we will arrange a secure way to share them.

Not for children

This site is meant for adults making decisions about their own affairs. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under eighteen.

Changes to this notice

We may update this notice as our practices or the law change. The date at the top always shows the current version, and if a change is significant we will make that clear.
