Terms
The terms of using this site.
Last updated 31 July 2026
These are the plain terms for using uspreservationpartners.com. By using the site, you agree to them. If you do not, please do not use the site.
Accepting these terms
This website is operated by US Preservation Partners. By accessing or using it, including the exposure estimator, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy notice. If you are using the site on behalf of a family or entity, you confirm you are authorized to accept these terms for them.
Educational purpose, not advice
This site exists to explain US estate tax on non-US persons and how life insurance can address it. Its content is general educational information, not legal, tax, accounting, or investment advice, and not a recommendation about your specific situation. Using the site does not create any attorney, accountant, advisor, or fiduciary relationship between you and us.
Nothing here is an offer or solicitation to buy any insurance product or security, or to provide services, where we are not authorized. For the detail on how we are licensed and paid, and on the limits of what we do, please read our Disclosures.
The estimator and reports
The exposure estimator and any report it produces are illustrations based on the figures you enter and a deliberately conservative assumption. They are not a quote, an opinion, or a promise, and they do not model treaty relief, graduated rates, state taxes, or your full circumstances. You are responsible for the accuracy of what you enter, and you should confirm any figure with your own advisors before relying on it.
How you may use the site
You agree to use the site lawfully and reasonably. In particular, you agree not to:
- Use it in any way that breaks the law or infringes anyone’s rights.
- Submit another person’s personal information without their permission.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the site, its systems, or its data.
- Interfere with the site’s operation, or scrape, harvest, or copy it at scale by automated means.
- Misrepresent who you are or your connection to any person.
Ownership and content
The site and its content, including text, design, graphics, the brand name, and the logo, are owned by US Preservation Partners or used under license, and are protected by intellectual-property laws. You may view and print pages for your own personal, non-commercial use, such as sharing your report with your own advisors. You may not otherwise copy, republish, sell, or use our content or brand without our written permission.
Third-party links and services
The site may link to third-party websites or reference independent professionals we coordinate. We do not control those third parties and are not responsible for their content, services, or advice. Any engagement you enter into with an independent professional is between you and them, on their own terms.
No warranties
The site is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We work to keep it accurate and current, but tax rules change and errors happen, so we do not warrant that the content is complete, current, or error-free, or that the site will always be available or uninterrupted. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, US Preservation Partners will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss, or for any decision you make in reliance on the general information or estimates on this site, rather than on advice from your own qualified professionals. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited by law.
Your responsibility
You agree to be responsible for your use of the site, and to hold us harmless from claims arising out of your misuse of it or your breach of these terms, to the extent permitted by law.
Privacy
Your use of the site is also governed by our Privacy notice, which explains what we collect and how we handle it. Please read it alongside these terms.
Changes
We may update the site and these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows the current version, and continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and of the state in which US Preservation Partners maintains its principal place of business, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules, and any dispute will be handled by the courts located there. If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.

If anything here is unclear, ask us. We would rather explain it than leave you guessing.
